The Board of Directors of Hong Leong Asia Ltd. (the “Company”) wishes to announce that Chengdu Yuchai Marketing Company Limited (“Chengdu Yuchai”), a company incorporated in the People’s Republic of China, had been de-registered. Chengdu Yuchai was a subsidiary of New York Stock Exchange listed China Yuchai International Limited, which in turn is a subsidiary of the Company.
